About the team
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Climate Change Mitigation team at a time when the need to both mitigate and adapt to climate change has never been greater. The Climate Change Mitigation team leads on developing climate change policy and strategy to support the Mayor’s goals of making London net zero carbon by 2030, including in the London Environment Strategy and London Plan, and contributing to economic growth through his Green New Deal.
The team develops new and innovative delivery mechanisms to accelerate the scale and pace of decarbonisation, while meeting the needs of Londoners and adapting to climate change. It works collaboratively with partners across London, nationally and globally to embed and support action on climate.
