Salary: Circa £24,000-£26,000 (Pro rata)

Groundwork London is a leading social and regeneration charity delivering over 500 projects each year, many of these support young people to achieve their goals, amplify their voice and get involved in volunteering and social action. In the role of Youth Mentors, you will play a pivotal role supporting young people to realise their goals within our achievement coach programme.
Are you experienced and keen to work with vulnerable young people aged 15-19 years at risk of disengaging from education, employment or training over a 15 month period?
Do you have the background, qualification or experience in youth and employment work, so you will work in an innovative way and achieve high-quality and raise young people’s aspiration and inspire them? An understanding of grant funded projects paperwork processes to meet our KPIs and funders needs.
Our Youth Mentors will work with caseload of young people in schools and the community through 121s and some group meetings. Please apply if you are keen to facilitate young people’s personal and educational development, improving their mind-set, soft skills and resilience in order to successfully transition and sustain post 16 destinations.
If you are passionate about helping young people fulfil their potential and would enjoy the autonomy of a role that allows you to design and deliver one to ones or group work with 15-19-year-olds based in school or college, we would love to hear from you.
Most of the roles will be based across the West London Boroughs of Harrow, Hounslow, Hillingdon, Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Brent. It is essential that you are willing to travel to these locations to fulfil this role.
