Description |

Title: Volunteer Assistant Ranger (leading on Seabird Fieldwork) Status: Full-time for 13 weeks Location: Handa Island, Sutherland Closing date: 9am, Monday 25th March This is an exciting and varied opportunity to live and work on this wonderful remote island. Work with our Handa Ranger staff undertaking a wide range of different tasks including seabird monitoring (kittiwakes, fulmars, guilliemots, razorbills), practical work, landing and meeting visitors.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of communal living ideally in a remote setting
- Someone who ‘wears well’ with others.
- The role requires a good level of health and fitness and a sense of humour
- Some fieldwork experience useful
- Self motivated & willingness to be flexible
