Swansea Bay Project Officer
Are you passionate about nature conservation and engagement? We have an exciting opportunity to join the Buglife Cymru Team to help Wales’ most rare and threatened species to survive and thrive.
Buglife is looking for a full time Project Officer to help to deliver the Swansea Bay: Coast, Commons and Communities project. This is part of Natur am Byth! - Wales’ flagship species recovery programme uniting ten environmental organisations in the largest ever partnership of its kind in Wales.
Working largely in Swansea and Gower the Project Officer will be responsible for delivering habitat management works for a range of species including invertebrates, plants and reptiles, organising and undertaking species surveys, liaising with landowners and leading volunteer work-parties. The Project Officer will work closely with local communities and project partners to make positive changes for people and wildlife.
The Swansea Bay project will be delivered by a team of two Project Officers with support from a Senior Project Officer who will undertake overall project management responsibilities. Project Officers will be required to work closely together to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference for Welsh wildlife and to join our growing Wales team and be part of the wider Natur am Byth! partnership.
