Surrey Wildlife Trust’s grazing operation delivers nature restoration and nature based solutions across 8000 acres of the county whilst connecting local communities to sites through our volunteer livestock lookering programme. The trust practices regenerative agriculture on its farmland, with a focus on farmland biodiversity and healthy soils. The trust is also taking part in the Sustainable Farming Incentive Pilot.

If you have experience of managing livestock and driving tractors and are able to fulfil the other criteria outlined on the job profile, please complete an application form, or provide a CV and covering letter, and send it to tamsin.harris@surreywt.org.uk by 5pm on Monday 25th July 2022. Interviews and practical test on August 1st or 5th. The job profile and application form are available on our website www.surreywildlifetrust.org or by contacting Tamsin Harris.

Surrey Wildlife Trust is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts across the UK, a grassroots movement working to protect and connect at least 30 per cent of land and sea for nature's recovery by 2030. ‘Our vision for a wilder Surrey is a future with abundant wildlife and nature recovery networks rich in biodiversity.’

Pond Farm, our primary base on Wisley Common, is not readily accessible via public transport so the ability to drive and access to a vehicle is essential although suitable SWT work vehicles will be available. It will be necessary for you to be located within a 45 minute drive of either Pond Farm in Wisley or Bonhurst Farm in Bramley.
