Are you passionate about young people and keen to play a pivotal role in our open access service leading on early intervention and prevention to improve the mental wellbeing of children and young people across the London Borough of Southwark?

The Nest is Groundwork London’s mental wellbeing support service for young people aged 0 – 25 and living in the London Borough of Southwark. Since launching as a remote service in May of 2020, right in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, The Nest has gone from strength to strength and we are looking for an experienced, ambitious and driven therapeutic practitioner to take on the role of Senior Wellbeing Coach as our service continues to grow.

Supported by of the Service Manager and Team Lead, you will be responsible for representing The Nest in a clinical capacity at multi-disciplinary team meetings with other services and overseeing the launch of group work activities at The Nest, all while holding a caseload of young people with complex presentations.

Contact us if you have:
  • Relevant therapeutic training, e.g. counselling, art psychotherapy, etc.
  • A minimum of two years experience of delivering therapeutic interventions for 11- 25 year olds
  • Experience and confidence in undertaking assessment, formulation, risk assessment and safety planning
  • Knowledge and understanding of the barriers young people face when accessing support
  • An awareness of working to safeguard children and vulnerable adults, including relevant training
