This post, based in E3G’s London headquarters, will help to ensure that the UK takes strong domestic action to integrate climate change into finance policy and public finance. This role will provide essential support to the delivery of UK sustainable finance policy outcomes by carrying out research, stakeholder management and providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for tracking and analysing sustainable finance policy and political developments in the UK. Conduct research into key topics as needed.
- Provide timely updates and analysis, both to E3G colleagues and to external stakeholders.
- Play a leading role in building E3G relationships with relevant Parliamentarians and Parliamentary committees. Identify relevant Parliamentary inquiries and co-ordinate E3G submissions.
- Support engagement with a wide range of sustainable finance actors in the UK, including companies, NGOs and policymakers. Take a lead in building and managing some relationships.
- Support drafting and dissemination of E3G policy briefings, reports, and blogs.
- Support the running of external and internal meetings including managing shared calendars, events databases and minutes.
- Develop new areas of interest/future E3G work around UK sustainable finance.
- Any other reasonable management request
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will have:
- Familiarity with Sustainable Finance policies in the UK including relevant terminology.
- Interest in climate change and UK climate policy
- Experience with working in Parliament/ Parliamentary outreach is desirable.
- Experience with using Microsoft Office products including Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and of managing information (e.g. stakeholder lists, calendars)
- Experience of drafting documents and summarising complex information
- Experience with organising and supporting events is desirable.
- Positive, can-do attitude
