ADAS, part of the RSK Group, is seeking an experienced Principal Ecologist to join our highly skilled ecology team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a hybrid office and home working position based in Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities
- Working together with our Associate Director for the South East to ensure high quality service is delivered to our clients
- Managing the team of ecologists based at Boxworth
- Managing projects from inception to finalisation
- Talking to our clients and providing solid technical advice
- Writing of technical reports including but not limited to, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, Mitigation Strategies and Biodiversity Management Plans, Habitat Regulations Assessments Screening reports and protected species reports
- Technical review and approval of reports
Person Specification
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle and living within a commutable distance of our Boxworth office in Cambridge
- Associate Level CIEEM membership or above
- Demonstrable experience of ecological consultancy work, including leading surveys and managing projects
- Good working knowledge of ecology, legislation, and survey techniques, including protected species surveys and mitigation
- Previous ecology-related experience
- Graduate-level education in a relevant subject
- Excellent written communication skills and be able to produce accurate technical reports to a professional standard
Salary and Benefits
- Up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience
