Job Purpose Summary
The post holder will work as part of the Peatland ACTION Technical Advice Team in NatureScot to provide technical advice that supports the requirements for high standards of peatland restoration across Scotland and in particular those delivered by NatureScot. It will develop expertise and manage contracts that support the provision of advice, development of guidance and promotion of good practice that provide the foundations for successful restoration of peatland habitats.
The post covers the whole of Scotland and will require the ability to travel independently, as public transport is not always available and site are remote. On occasions, this will require travel that necessitates nights away from home.
