Description

Do you enjoy talking to people? Do you care about nature and the countryside? Use your enthusiasm to promote Membership of Surrey Wildlife Trust!

We are seeking a small number of self-motivated and reliable people with an interest in wildlife to join our team of Membership Recruiters. Our Recruiters come from a variety of backgrounds, but all are enthusiastic ‘people persons’, who are honest and persuasive enough to sell the story of our great work and sign up new Members. Your job will be to promote membership at pre-booked shows, events and retail outlets. You do not have to be a wildlife expert, as relevant training will be given, but you do need to be a good communicator, keen to achieve results. Your success will also be reflected in bonus payments for exceeding your targets.

Applicants need to live in or on the borders of Surrey, have a full driving licence and access to a car.

If you fit our profile please apply by completing an application form or by sending a CV and covering letter outlining your relevant experience/skills. Suitable candidates will be contacted for interviews as their applications are received. Seasonal jobs are until the end of October or there are permanent positions available. Basic salary £9.90 per hour plus commission.

Application form and job details are on our website www.surreywildlifetrust.org or request them by email from catherine.roberts@surreywt.org.ukIf you would like to discuss the role further please talk to our Membership Recruitment Coordinator Brendan Kilby on 07967 575 258.

Surrey Wildlife Trust cares for over 80 nature reserves across Surrey. The Recruitment team play a crucial role in providing the funds required to carry out our wildlife conservation and education work and therefore the role is intrinsically rewarding.
