The Bumblebee Conservation Trust (BBCT) is looking for a part-time Outreach Officer to lead on the delivery of their Bee Wild West Wales project in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.
Bee Wild West Wales aims to engage, promote and enable action to make west Wales a buzzing haven for bumblebees. We are working with communities in west Wales to help them discover how important bumblebees are and what they can do to protect them. We will achieve this grassroots support through two work strands: Skills for Bees and Buzzing Communities.
You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with good bumblebee identification skills, knowledge of pollinator ecology, and experience in public engagement. You will have strong communication skills and be able to engage a wide range of people including local community groups, children and young people, partner organisations and volunteers.
This position will be based from home in west Wales.
