Description |

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated fundraiser to play a pivotal role in the care of the Nevis Landscape. Our mission is ‘to make this cherished area an exemplar of the sustainable approach to managing an accessible and popular Glen and Mountain, conserving and enhancing its landscape, its wild country and its heritage for both resident and visitor alike.’ Key to achieving this will be the development and implementation of the Nevis Fund, a new visitor giving initiative, in partnership with John Muir Trust, Friends of Nevis and High Life Highland as part of a comprehensive and coherent fundraising strategy for the Nevis area.
This position is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
REPORTS TO: Partnership Manager SALARY: £28,000 per annum (£16,800 pro-rata) LOCATION: Fort William STATUS: Part-time (21 hours/week) Based in Fort William, flexible working available. TERM: Fixed term contract for 8 months with potential to extend. ANNUAL LEAVE: 30 days per annum (20 days, Pro-rata) to include ALL public holidays.
