NbS researcher – Nature Finance

Do you want to join a purpose-driven consultancy in biodiversity and nature sustainability, advising market-leading financial services clients on nature investment strategy, biodiversity risk management and Nature-based Solutions (NbS)? Do you want to be an essential part of NbS project design and development with the chance to create lasting social and environmental benefits?

As an NbS researcher, you will be a vital member of the nature finance team, helping deliver our growing portfolio of NbS projects. You will support NbS feasibility assessments and project development, assisting our clients to identify project opportunities while working with on-the-ground partners to guide investment towards nature-positive outcomes. A focus of the role will be connecting clients to high-integrity carbon projects with biodiversity co-benefits.

You will be a junior professional, educated to Masters’ degree or equivalent in environmental sciences, natural resources management, conservation or sustainability. As the successful candidate you will have experience of voluntary carbon project development and certification in Africa or Asia. You will possess working knowledge of market-based instruments for conservation and the global biodiversity agenda, including institutional initiatives (post 2020 global biodiversity framework, TNFD, EU taxonomy etc).
