Description

We have a bold ambition to grow income and we know there are many challenges in fundraising, but we also know most of the public in the UK want to see cruel sports as a thing of the past.

In this role you will support the Director of Marketing & Fundraising to develop and implement the Marketing & Fundraising Strategy enabling the League to meet its future aspirations in terms of income generation and in winning the hearts and minds of a broader audience.

You will be instrumental in driving the corporate identity, influencing the tone of voice and positioning the League in the marketplace.

You will lead on projects that identify who our supporters are, their giving motivations, and lead on all new acquisition campaigns to recruit new supporters. You will lead on the project management and delivery of multi-channel campaigns, with specific focus on digital as we embark on our “Think Digital First” objective.

You will have proven experience as a Marketing Manager, from which you can demonstrate your understanding of the role of a brand in positioning an organisation and your creative and effective direction. Alongside this you will have digital marketing expertise and experience of implementing marketing applications across a broad range of platforms. Strong project management skills and excellent communication skills are a must for this busy and varied role.

The League Against Cruel Sports is Britain’s leading charity working towards a kinder society where persecuting animals for ‘sport’ is in the past.

Redefining what is acceptable and inspiring change, we were instrumental in helping bring about the landmark Hunting Act 2004. Driven by compassion and empowered by knowledge, we manage sanctuaries to protect wildlife, carry out investigations to expose law-breaking and cruelty to animals, and campaign for stronger animal protection laws and penalties.

United, we will end animal cruelty in the name of ‘sport’.

Our benefits include generous holiday entitlement, excellent pension scheme, discounts on shopping and cinema, based in a dog friendly office, most importantly working with a passionate and committed team.
