Community Energy Scotland is seeking a suitable candidate to this fixed-term post. The Innovation Development Officer role is to help deliver on the Work Package that CES are leading within the ReFLEX project (Responsive FLEXibility) as well as to contribute towards day to day delivery of tasks led by other Project Partners.
The role requires a high level of self-motivation and strong commitment to Community Energy Scotland, its ethos and purpose. ReFLEX aims to develop and pilot a new digital system and associated infrastructure to integrate the flexible operation of electricity, transport and heat networks in a way that will provide affordable power, balance and manage the grid locally, and make best use of renewable energy resources on Orkney.
We’re looking for a colleague who will be highly committed to CES and our mission, and who will be able to work effectively as part of our ReFLEX team.
