This is an exciting and rare opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the UK and help to shape our work making this National Park a great place for the public to enjoy.
We need a high quality person to lead our Ranger and Apprentice Services and be part of a wider team of around 110 staff and 600 volunteers who are delivering a great service in a wonderful environment.
You will be playing the leading role to ensure our work on recreation and access continues to be strong, creative and dynamic, providing excellent opportunities for the public to enjoy our fantastic National Park. If you are to be successful, we’ll need you to demonstrate your;
• Great team leadership and facilitation skills; • Ability to deliver detailed practical projects on time and within budget • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety issues • Ability to generate income • Grasp of why good access into protected landscapes is important. • Commitment to continual improvement
