In 2024, our Green Teams are at the very heart of the delivery of several of Groundwork’s employment programmes and our newest landscaping and sustainable urban drainage projects. We are seeking a Green Team Programme Manager who will lead and manage the programme’s activities that will be crucial to the success of these projects and motivate and lead the team of Green Team Supervisors who train those new to the industry.

- Have a track record of costing & winning landscaping and grounds maintenance contracts
- Are successfully delivering those contracts through directly employed teams and sub-contractors
- Have the ability to work closely with our in-house team of Landscape Architects and Community Team members to deliver design build solutions for our clients
- Demonstrate a desire to put our trainees at the heart of our service delivery and support their progression into careers in the industry
Over the last nearly 25 years, Groundwork’s Green Teams have provided hundreds of unemployed Londoners with their first taste of work in grounds maintenance and horticulture. Under the tutelage of our Green Team Supervisors they have successfully delivered award winning landscaping and maintenance contracts throughout London.
You will be highly organised, able to work towards targets and deadlines, whilst managing your own workload. You’ll be supported in your role by key staff within the Employment and Landscaping teams.
