Green Doctor – Energy Advisor

Groundwork London works with communities across the capital to transform their lives and the places they live. Green Doctors team have been supporting vulnerable people to lift them out of fuel poverty for over 16 years. Your role will include delivering home visits and telephone support to advise people on how to save energy and money in the home, installing energy saving measures and helping households apply for grants.

Main duties are:

• Undertaking home visits & telephone appointments to support fuel poor households
• Installing small energy saving measures in household such as LED light bulbs
• Representing the team at local events run by various organisations
• Take part in regular training session to improve your skills and knowledge within the energy saving world

Key requirements:

• Practical skills and a people-person with a passion for helping the vulnerable.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency to provide in-home tailored energy saving advice.
• Ability to adapt your approach to suit our client’s varying needs.
• Comfortable with lone working and experienced with effectively managing your own workload.
• Ability to adapt your approach to suit the varying needs of our service users
• cA full clean driving license is required.
