Trailblazers Adventure Travel Pvt Ltd more popularly known as The Outdoor School seeks to recruit Post graduate/Graduates in either Environmental science, Zoology, Botany, Geography, Geology, History as Field Education Executive. Besides academic qualification the candidate must be well read and an excellent communicator, fun to be with and well-versed in any one or more hobby skills i.e. bird watching, plant taxonomy, astronomy, rocks & stones, history, music and storytelling etc besides loves trekking, mountaineering and living in the outdoors.
The job profile involves extensive camping to exotic locales, interacting with young curious students, teaching, exploring, experimenting and learning with them and their teachers, living with them taking and giving safe care to them, creating content, planning, and undertaking sales in non-camping season and be a part of the core team in strategic reorientation of Trailblazers in the travel, education domain.
We are seeking full time and part-time camp leaders to execute our camps in India and around the world and also promote these programmes amongst our clients. You could be a student/ professional looking to work full time or part-time in the field of outdoor camp execution. If you have an extraordinary interest and knowledge in History, Geography, Wildlife, Astronomy, Camping, Trekking, Adventure sports and would like to share with children, teachers whilst traveling to exotic camps, you are the person we are looking for in the age group of 21 to 30 years.
Applicant must

Be physically fit, have immense patience, empathy, compassion and love to travel and share the learnings with an age defining set of campers. Essentially you must be confident and a fun to be with person

Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, national language and an ability to quickly learn the local language if not native of the place.

Be a graduate or a post graduate in either Arts or Science besides having training in natural History or mountaineering, trekking and adventure sports.

Be willing to travel at short notice. Should have a valid passport

Have a minimum of 2 years camping experience. Experience with schools’ groups and requisite skills of outdoor living and outdoor teaching would be an added advantage.

Have a pleasant personality and love meeting new people

Have valid First aid certification and medical insurance

A flair for music instruments/dance/puppetry/storytelling or any of the performing arts is a plus.
