Experienced Professional - Responsible Sourcing

Proforest is a mission-driven organisation that works throughout supply chains supporting the production and sourcing of multiple commodities like sugar, soy, palm oil, coconut, cocoa, beef and fibre in ways that deliver positive environmental and social outcomes for people and the environment. Role overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our consultancy practice and work with global brands like Nestle, PepsiCo, Unilever and platforms like the Consumer Goods Forum. We work with them as thought leaders and committed technical partners to analyse systemic issues, shape strategy, develop innovative solutions, drive the transition to responsible supply chains and deliver positive outcomes at scale.
We offer a variety of roles across our practice areas: From helping our clients implement their sustainability commitments on ecosystem protection and restoration, workers’ rights, advancing gender equality and engaging with local communities and indigenous people; to facilitating effective collaboration between private sector, governments, civil society and communities to develop an enabling environment for positive environmental and social change; and developing practical information, tools and guidance to help people at all levels understand the challenges of responsible sourcing and production, make meaningful commitments and turn their them into action.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are self-motivated, have passion for what we do and are excited about helping deliver our mission. To succeed within Proforest you need the confidence and drive to achieve real change in a challenging environment.
You are an excellent communicator, able to build and deepen collaborative relationships with stakeholders, have strong analytical skills and are able to drive innovation and change.
You will preferably have a relevant Masters’ level qualification, more than 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role within the industry (e.g. sustainability consultancy, private sector, sustainable finance, etc.), and a proven track record of implementing practical and realistic solutions.
Key terms
We are recruiting for different levels of seniority:
Principal level roles: £40,000 - £55,000
Manager/Expert level roles: £50,000 - £75,000
