Engineer for Water Supply Management (m/f/d)
as Integrated Expert

We are looking for you:

The Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) requires your expertise to ensure quality standards and develop sustainable improvement projects in the water sector. As a state institution, WAJ is responsible for guaranteeing Jordan’s water supply and wastewater disposal with a high level of reliability and quality. In addition to financial and organisational aspects, this also includes operational tasks relating to water supply and wastewater disposal.

Your tasks will involve:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of modernisation and improvement projects in the water sector
  • Supporting the optimisation of operational processes in the Water Department
  • Initiating and implementing coaching and training for relevant stakeholders in the sector
  • Supporting the sustainable development of the water sector and environmental protection
  • Networking with national and regional stakeholders in the field of water supply

Your profile:

  • A university degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences with a focus on Water Management or another subject that qualifies you for the position
  • Several years of professional experience in water supply, preferably in the public sector
  • In-depth experience in planning and monitoring infrastructure projects
  • Experience of the region desirable
  • Excellent English, Arabic desirable
  • Citizenship of an EU or EFTA member state
