Director of Ramblers Scotland

Join Britain’s biggest walking charity, to help us to help everyone in Scotland to enjoy walking and to champion walkers’ rights. 

We are seeking an inspirational Director to lead the development and delivery of Ramblers Scotland and set the tone for a vibrant and inclusive culture. This role is a member of the Ramblers Senior Leadership Team and works with the Scottish Council Executive Committee and with staff, volunteers, members, supporters, donors and external partners to communicate the Ramblers charitable aims, values and mission to the wider public.

 This is an exciting time of transformation and growth at the Ramblers and a great opportunity to innovate and to have a lasting and significant impact on our future direction. We are looking for a strategic team-player with a great track record as a campaigner, excellent interpersonal and digital communication skills and a strong track record of leading change and delivering results. A personal commitment to walking in nature is also essential.
