The Environmental Events – Volunteer Officer role is ideal for someone who is interested in an active job with extensive outdoor facilitation, building and sharing of knowledge in practical skills and sustainable practice. You’ll be willing to go above and beyond to make a difference to communities, working longer hours around an event day, with time off in lieu given, for shorter alternate days. This role is great for someone who is ambitious and wants to join a fast moving team in a developing sector. The team is based at our office in Hackney, on event days you will be travelling from your home to the office and onwards with the event team to the location for these engagement days. You will be managed by our Corporate Partnerships Team Leader, working as part of a small, close-knit team.

  • Experience delivering customer service in busy environments, while being responsive to changes and multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage a wide and varied workload, managing competing deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards.
