Do you want to help the UK meet its Net-Zero targets and are you passionate about ensuring fairness for customers? The energy sector is undergoing rapid change and new business models are being introduced that will help us meet our carbon reduction goals, but could put customers at risk. Flex Assure is seeking a Compliance Scheme Administrator to help deliver a new code of conduct for companies offering demand flexibility services to domestic and micro-business customers.
Flex Assure is a code of conduct and compliance scheme, based on the Flex Assure Code of Conduct, which was developed by industry to set standards of practice for flexibility services providers (sometimes referred to as 'aggregators') that provide optimisation services to business energy users. Flex Assure is a not-for-profit company wholly owned by the Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE).
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and commercially aware person who can assist our Scheme Manager in the delivery of an exciting new code of conduct, HOMEFlex. The role will include providing secretariat services and engaging with a wide range of industry stakeholders, including Government and consumer interest groups.
The Flex Assure/ADE office is an exciting and dynamic place to work, engaging with industry leaders and decision makers at the forefront of energy policy, and helping to shape future energy markets. You will enjoy engaging within a small office team as well as across a wide number of external stakeholders.
Strong administration abilities and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality who is confident talking to a range of stakeholders both in face-to-face and virtual meetings and over the phone. An ability to accurately record, file and maintain multiple digital documents will be vital.
At Flex Assure we believe that we succeed by having happy, motivated people and we will support and invest in the successful candidate. There will be plenty of opportunity for advancement for the right candidate. In exchange we look for proactive team players who are ready to deliver a fair deal for energy consumers.
