An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outgoing and enthusiastic self-starter to join Amphibian and Reptile Conservation in the role of Communications and Outreach Manager based at our offices in Bournemouth.
Amphibian and Reptile Conservation is a wildlife charity striving for a world where amphibians and reptiles can thrive in their natural habitats with a society inspired and committed to their conservation.
We are looking for an excellent communicator who can develop and implement ARC’s communications strategy to support both the operational and fundraising aspects of our work. As the successful candidate, you will develop ARC’s profile to increase the organisation’s effectiveness and sustainability and enhance ARC’s outreach both within and outside the conservation sector. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a communications programme that involves a wide range of media, working across ARC, with external organisations and fundraising professionals. You will lead on a programme of work that sees an increase in the size and diversity of ARC’s supporter base and communicates the wider range of benefits of ARC’s work to a broad audience and, in particular, to potential funders.
