Are you looking for an internship in the sustainability and climate change sector? ClimatePartner is offering a unique opportunity for you to develop your commercial skills and learn about our holistic climate action services. Climate change, and the urgency to provide solutions, is driving major changes in corporate strategy across the globe. Consumers, governments, and investors alike are pushing for net-zero carbon and corporates are increasingly in need of strategic ESG advice and real-life climate solutions to enable them to act now. ClimatePartner work with the largest brands, FMCG retailers and financial service providers around the world on their climate action strategies. We also have the capabilities to support innovative SMEs and start-ups, ensuring our solutions are accessible to organisations of all sizes and across all industries. You will be joining and industry leading organisation in a commercially focused support role, to help engage and advise companies on their climate action strategies. You will work closely with our UK team of Commercial Sustainability Managers to shape new markets and enable our clients to measure, reduce and offset their emissions with our holistic end-to-end climate action solutions. You will be responsible for:
- Supporting operationally to keep documentation up-to-date and answering the inbound telephone lines
- Completing ad-hoc administrative and office related tasks as and when required
- Using our outbound sales software to prospect new clients and follow up with new leads on behalf of our managers, via email, LinkedIn and telephone
- Inputting and cleansing data on our customer relationship management (CRM) platform
- Updating and managing the sales tracker pipeline document with relevant data inputs to ensure we can track successes and forecast accurately
- Bringing a natural confidence, innovative approach, and hunger to progress and develop your career whilst improve lives with climate action solutions
You will be responsible for supporting an organisation going through a period of fast grow to ensure operational excellence in our commercial team. You will have the opportunity to learn how we communicate the advantages of ClimatePartner solutions to customers and gain a detailed understanding of our SaaS carbon footprinting software, carbon reduction advisory and consulting services, through to our global portfolio of carbon offset projects and innovative carbon removal technologies. The full-time internship is offered for 6-12 months, with the possibility to be extended to a permanent role.
