We are looking for a Caseworker to join our integration team and support Afghan New Arrivals to resettle in the borough of Hackney.
Groundwork delivers a series of innovative social integration programmes focused on supporting migrants and refugees to integrate into life in the UK, through a programme of holistic activities including, language, employment support and cultural/community activities.
As a Caseworker, you will be allocated specifically to the Hackney Afghan Resettlement service and will be responsible for intensive casework, meeting key performance indicators set by Hackney Council. The work will include supporting families to set up homes with furniture, supporting with accessing services such as schools, GP’s, and making phone calls, advocating on behalf of the families.
Lived experience is particularly desirable for this role with Afghan languages such as Pashto/Farsi/Dari considered a big advantage.
