With a relevant background, qualification or experience in gang prevention, you will drive innovative and high-quality provision by coaching young people in order to inspire them, increase their resilience and raise their academic attainment.
Our Youth team is seeking applications for Case Workers to support the continued expansion of our Youth Programme. The central focus of the role is to line manage an Achievement Coach and work with a caseload of young people within PRU’s and prepare them to progress to further education/college, employment or apprenticeships, ensuring they do not become NEET. The role initially requires being based in either one or more of the London Pupil Referral Units.
You will provide specific support to young people (15 -17 year olds) who are involved in gang activity or are vulnerable to becoming involved in gangs and youth violence, enabling them to make the transition from a place where they have been excluded from school to sustained education, employment and training (EET) outcomes.
With a relevant background, qualification or experience in youth, gang prevention and employment work, you will lead on innovative and high-quality provision as well as the skills to manage the Achievement Coach to achieve sustained education, employment and training.

- The ability to reduce young people’s risk factors around getting involved with gangs/serious youth violence.
- Experience in leading and managing a caseload of clients.
- The attitude and ability to go the extra mile in order to improve young people’s prospects.
We are a leading social & environmental regeneration charity delivering over 500 projects each year many aimed at supporting young people in a variety of activities and training from higher achievement in education & training through to environmental & social action initiatives.
The role includes managing the proactive identification of work experience and work taster opportunities for young people, ensuring they have access to suitably positive destinations which may include volunteering, education and training, work experience, accessing apprenticeships and employment.
You will have the ability to form close and effective relationships with young people from a wide range of backgrounds, provide support and guidance.
