Description |

We are seeking a Project Officer to manage habitat restoration works and support the delivery of nature conservation on our key Nene Valley nature reserves.
Reporting to the Nene Wetlands Senior Ranger, the Nene Valley Projects Officer will undertake conservation work and deliver a variety of habitat restoration and creation projects across Summer Leys, Nene Wetlands and Titchmarsh Reserves in order to create destination sites based on their overwintering and breeding bird interest. The NVPO will work with contractors to deliver larger scale habitat restoration and creation projects and reserve colleagues to undertake habitat management across the three sites, with a focus on the Nene Wetlands. The NVPO will also co-ordinate the budgets and reporting for the externally funded projects as well as working with the monitoring and research team to integrate monitoring into the long-term management of these Reserves. Full details here.
