This is a unique and exciting opportunity to provide the leadership, inspiration and support to our teams involved in the delivery of vital water efficiency work in partnership with water companies across London and the South of England.
The Assistant Director will be responsible for building on our award-winning programme delivery, ensuring excellent customer service in the pursuit of domestic and business water efficiency, wastage fixes (low-level plumbing repairs) and customer engagement activity. Providing leadership to the Water Efficiency Senior Management Team and wider support teams in Groundwork, you will be responsible for ensuring all contractual requirements and programme targets are met, whilst overseeing the programmes financial planning and monitoring; human resources planning and management; and health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace and in the field. You will also play a key role in shaping and delivering the strategy to grow our programmes of water efficiency work, with support from our development staff and bidding teams.
