From £26,500 for graduate level

We are looking for a graduate or consultant to join our Acoustics team in London where you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of exciting and complex projects. 

Our current project portfolio includes support on rail schemes such as HS2 and Northern Powerhouse Rail; assessments of sustainable energy schemes such as solar and wind farms; inputting into the design of data centres; and building acoustics work for offices, hotels and residential developments.

We carry out a wide range of bespoke planning and environmental assignments; noise and vibration monitoring; support to local authorities, and expert witness support.

General qualifications and experience:

  • Professional qualifications (relevant degree/diploma) within Acoustics (or appropriate experience in acoustics in lieu of such qualification);
  • Associate membership or full membership of Institute of Acoustics (AMIOA or MIOA);
  • Work experience in acoustics consultancy.

    Acoustics technical understanding and experience:

  • Acoustics calculations and calculations software such as CadnaA;
  • Acoustics surveys the use of sound level meters surveys and monitoring;
  • Writing technical reports and providing acoustics advice to clients;
  • Understanding of basic environmental acoustics guidance and standards such as CRTN, CRN, ISO9613, BS8233, BS5228, NPSE, ProPG;

    We are looking for:

  • A team player who is friendly, enthusiastic, proactive, well organised, customer focused, flexible, discrete, hardworking, dynamic, self-motivated and professional;
  • Good interpersonal and strong communication skills (written and oral);
  • Experience and understanding of health and safety matters and associated risk assessments.
  • Full, clean driving license and flexibility to travel is required due to various locations of projects.?
