The Quantock Hills AONB Partnership is delighted to be recruiting a Development Officer to work up our Stage 2 Landscape Partnership Scheme bid. The Quantock Hills Landscape Partnership focuses on the Quantock Hills AONB and its fringing farmland in Somerset. The Quantock Hills is a special landscape rich in natural, built and cultural heritage. But it is a landscape under pressure. Housing and infrastructure growth and changes in landownership and agricultural practices is unprecedented. The scheme aims to better understand these pressures and create solutions to ensure this special landscape thrives into the future.
About the Job
The Development Officer will co-ordinate and lead the development of project plans and prepare the documentation for the submission of the Stage 2 bid which includes the Landscape Character Action Plan (LCAP).
About You
We are looking for an experienced Development Officer with a strong track record of developing large, complex projects, good understanding of landscape issues and significant experience of community and stakeholder engagement.
